Graphic novels are being used to share information for enjoyment and for intellectual pursuit. Humans respond to and rely on imagery and minimal text to convey information. Graphic novels, through their multimodality, expose learners to different literacies. Welcome to the Graphic World as we explore and discuss what kinds of informational comics and graphic novels are available, how can they be used and taught in and out of the classroom, and what are good resources to find them?
